I am back!

Hey guys,

I started this blog a couple of years ago because it was part of my bucket list. I was so excited when I opened this website because I had so many things that I wanted to write about to share with my audience and then life happened.  Keeping up with my blog weekly was an epic fail because of my busy life of  work and school. I just turned 40 a couple of weeks ago and had the time to reflect on things that I could not fully accomplished and the blog was one of them. I kept telling my co-workers that I need to get back to my blog and they would tell me “Stop talking about it and do it!”. Well I am back and I am not letting anything get in my way. ( I am literally sitting in my Healthcare Economics class writing this post.) My teacher has such a monotone voice that I tend to tune him out most of the class period.  His voice reminds me of the teacher on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.  If he can only say “Bueller, Bueller”, that would definitely make my day!  I am hoping I will not disappoint you this time around.  Stay tune!

XOXO Michikat

Do you have a Bucket List?

Google defines “bucket list” as a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime. Whoever initiated the bucket list had big dreams and ideas.  I know that everyone, at least, has created a bucket list for themselves.   You are never too old or young to start working on your bucket list. I did a poll last week, and most people said that their primary goal on the list was to travel. Traveling is a must, especially if you are going out of state or country. If you ever plan a trip to California, you have to make a road trip on the coastline (Highway 1). The experience was beautiful and unforgettable. I must warn you though make sure you have a full tank of gas and be prepared to travel through one lane around the mountains and with no phone reception. YES! No phone reception. I must admit it was a bit scary knowing you are running low on gas and the next station was about 30 miles away. But it was well worth it. I inserted an image below of one of the gorgeous views that I encountered on Highway 1.DSC_0759.JPG Remember your list can be about anything from creating a milestone or learning a new skill but make sure that you have realistic goals that you can accomplish. I wanted to share with you guys this awesome website that helps you list and achieves goals on your bucket list. It is called bucketlist.org. It is a pretty neat site that lets you follow other people on their bucket list adventures, and you can also read stories of their accomplishments. I  can also grab bucket list ideas from the people that I follow. Please, check out the site when you can. Well, I hope you enjoyed today’s blog, until next week Michikaters!

I am Michikat!

Hello, everyone! This blog site has been an idea of mine for quite some time now. I am truly excited to finally have my own website to the blog. I will be writing weekly topics on basically anything that comes to my mind. Any topics from love, relationships, traveling, pets, food and just life in general.  If you have a specific subject that you would like me to write about, please feel free to comment below.  I am only human people, not an expert, some of the things that I will post here will not always be PG-13. And that my friend is your warning.  A little bit about me, I am just a single girl (or woman, since I am in my late 30’s,  but I am still young at heart though haha!!)  enjoying  life to the fullest when I can. That is only when I am not bogged down with school and work. I have a passion for art, music, reading, photography, and being a food critic! haha.  I am really ecstatic about this experience and I hope you enjoy my blogs as I will be writing them. Now, I am no Carrie Bradshaw, my life is not as glamours as hers, but I can say that I am truly surrounded by some awesome ladies who are like sisters to me! This website is dedicated to my biggest supporters (you know who you are), for encouraging me to follow my dreams, goals and to take risks. To my audience, I look forward to having you follow me on a weekly basis. Welcome to my world Michikaters!
